An armed attack on an SDF office in Raqqa causes casualties

An armed attack on an office belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Al-Diriyah neighborhood, west of Raqqa, on Wednesday, caused two guards to lose their lives and wound others, according to a statement published by the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces, following the attack.

A private security source (who preferred to remain anonymous) told ASO News Network that 7 people, both civilians and military personnel, were injured with varying injuries, including a child who was seriously injured.

The source explained that the attack was carried out by two people using machine guns, and the office guards responded to the attack, which led to the injury of one of the perpetrators of the attack, and he was arrested, while the other fled.

The SDF media office suggested that ISIS cells were behind the attack, based on evidence and preliminary investigations, according to what it stated in its statement.
