US Central Command announces the killing of 35 ISIS members in Syria

The US Central Command (Centcom) announced on Wednesday that they had carried out a series of strikes against a number of ISIS camps in Syria on October 28, killing 35 members.

They added that the strikes targeted several ISIS sites in the Syrian desert, affecting prominent leaders of the organization.

They noted that there were no indications of civilian casualties.

The US command stated that these air strikes would disrupt ISIS’s ability to plan, organize and carry out attacks against civilians as well as against the United States and their allies throughout the region and beyond.

They stressed that they will continue, in cooperation with allies and partners in the region, to decisively destroy ISIS’s operational capabilities to ensure the permanent defeat of the organization.
