Local sources from Afrin said that “Soqor al-Kurd Brigade” faction imposed a sum of 4,500 SP per month on each family from the village of “Kfardleh” in Jandares district under their control, under the pretext that they were protecting the village and the property of the people.
The “Falcons of the Kurds” Brigade (“Soqor al-Kurd Brigade”) is part of a larger faction, “al-Hamzat Division” of the Turkish occupier.
According to the sources, the faction commissioned the village Moktar to collect the tax monthly and deposit it for the benefit of the aforementioned brigade.
As a result of the bad reputation that spread from the “Soqor al-Kurd Brigade” and their inhuman treatment of the villagers, the brigade issued a statement today denying all charges and acquittal of them from all these allegations, according to their claim.
In the context, elements of “Amashat” faction controlling “Sheikh Al-Hadid” township brutally attacked a resident of the village for his inability to pay the monthly tax imposed on the population, which is estimated at ten thousand pounds per month.

On the 30th of last March, a fight erupted between members of Ahrar al-Sharqyia faction on the one hand and “Shepherds of sheep” in “Qasim” village in “Raju” township on the other hand, as a result of the shepherds’ failure to pay their financial fines as taxes on their livestock.
As a result, t Ahrar al-Sharqyia expelled a number of these families from the village and confiscated their herds of livestock.
It is reported that these families are settlers.
