An additional working day at the Semalka crossing facilitates the flow of crossings

A special source from the management of the Semalka border crossing between North-East Syria and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq told ASO News Network that another day of the week will be a working day to facilitate work and crossings.
He added that Tuesday has become an official working day in the relations department of the crossing after it was previously a holiday.
The source explained that this decision was made with the aim of improving the flow of affairs of those leaving and arriving through the crossing, and alleviating the pressure on the rest of the working days.
The Semalka crossing is the main border crossing between North-East Syria and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and witnesses daily movement of travelers, humanitarian cases, and goods.
