An American patrol intercepts a Russian patrol in the city of Derek

Today, Wednesday, an American patrol intercepted a Russian one was patrolling in the countryside of Derek at the entrance to the city, preventing it from passing to return to Qasr al-Deeb village in Derek countryside.

Several hours after the two patrols stopped at the entrance of the city, the Russian patrol went to the border line to return to Qamishlo /Al Qamishli.

Two military helicopters hovered over the area, for more than an hour, and they left without any change in the scene.

The presence of the Russian forces met with a popular protest and was rejected by the people of the border villages in the countryside of Derek.
