The owner of the famous saying among Syrians shlounek ya Farouk, “How are you, Farouk,” died in Al-Hasakah countryside
On Wednesday, social media pages circulated the news of the death of Ahmed Al-Hanshuli Abu Fayez, the owner of the famous saying on social media platforms, “How are you, Farouk… yo, yo, yo” in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah.
ASO News Network verified the news through its own sources, and it was confirmed that he died the day before yesterday, Monday, at the age of 65 years.
Al-Hanshuli is a member of Al-Bakara tribe, Al-Boumai’ish Al-Salama clan.
He worked in agriculture and herding sheep in his hometown in the village of Ajaja al-Hajiya in the town of Al-Shaddadi, south of Al-Hasakah.
Abu Fayez became famous for his spontaneous humorous clip, “How are you, Farouk, Yo, Yo?” which spread widely years ago, and became a “trend” and a symbol of drawing a smile shared by Syrians from various regions.
