US Central Command announces the killing of 37 militants in two strikes in Syria
On Sunday, the US Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement that it had killed 37 militants from terrorist organizations in Syria with two air strikes this month.
And added that among them were senior leaders of ISIS, and Guardians of Religion(Hurras Al-Din), an organization affiliated with Al-Qaeda.
On September 24, American forces carried out a strike in northwestern Syria, killing nine terrorist elements, including Marwan Bassam Abdel Raouf, a senior commander of Hurras Al-Din and responsible for supervising military operations in Syria.
Centcom said the airstrikes form part of Central Command’s ongoing commitment, along with partners in the region, to disrupt and degrade terrorist efforts to plan, organize and execute attacks against civilians and military personnel from the United States, its allies and partners throughout the region and beyond.
