A child dies when a water tank falls deep into a cave in Sere Kaniye

A child from Sere Kaniye / Ras al-Ain died in the neighborhood of Ronahi on Tuesday while standing on the side of a tank selling water, causing a turn over of the tank on the child foot by a ground falling .

The child was rescued from the depth by two cranes to be taken to Roj Hospital in the city and then to the city of Qamishlo /al Qamishli, but he lost his life by a heart failure as the result of intensive frightening .
According to witnesses, the child was standing by the side of his father’s tank to sell water, as the tank turned sideways while filling the water, towards a newly discovered hole .
The city of Sere Kaniye / Ras al-Ain suffers from ground falling(caves) that resulted in the descent and decline of the earth in different depths in several neighborhoods.
Aso network prepared a full file two weeks ago, about the risk of the caves in the city, after appeals from several people of the city.
On the incident, a member of the Executive Committee of the Municipality of the people in Sere Kaniye, “Mohammed Hussein,” said that the child, “Abdul Hakim Kh”, aged 14, was accompanied by his father, “Yassin.” Kh, while his father work in the distribution of water in neighborhoods that lack drinking water and then distributed it in the neighborhood of Ronahi.

Hussein said that a ground falling below the tank led to a tank cap on the child’s feet for more than a quarter of an hour, until two lifters arrived at the scene. The child was then taken to the Roj hospital.
A spokesman of Roj hospital, “Dilawer Mohamed Ali,” told Aso news network that the child during his arrival at the hospital his foot was mashed of the weight of the tank, and was taken to a hospital in Qamislo, but lost his life due to heart failure.
According to the municipality, the depth of the landing under the tank was about 80 centimeters and two meters in diameter.
