Statement of Serekaniye Displaced Persons Committee on the Turkish violations in the village of Ain Hisan
Serekaniye/Ras al-Ain/Rush Ainu Displaced Committee issued a statement, in Kurdish and Arabic, about the recent violations in the village of Ain Hisan in the countryside of Serekaniye, through a press conference in Washokani camp, west of the city of Al-Hasakah.
The statement revealed the crimes of the Turkish occupation in Serekaniye during the last week, and the statement stated:
“Serekaniye Displaced Committee confirmed that the failure of the community and international forces and their disavowal of their obligations contributed to the widening of the crimes of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries in the occupied areas, calling for immediate action to stop the wheel of destruction being practiced in the region and to restrain them.
On March 22, a group of mercenaries of Al-Hamzah Division of the National Army, in conjunction with the Newroz holiday, bulldozed more than 9 houses in the village of Ain Hisan, southwest of Serekaniye, in addition to bulldozing its orchards to turn the village into military headquarters and yards for training mercenaries”.
The statement called on the International Commission of Inquiry to carry out its role in carrying out investigations into serious violations of humanitarian law.
The statement mentioned the names of the owners of the houses that were bulldozed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, during the past few days, and they are:
