Civilian casualties and injuries in an explosion in Manbij

A civilian lost his life and seven others were injured, as the initial result of an explosion at the Al Umaraa restaurant in Manbij.

There were reports of casualties from the International Coalition, which could not be confirmed.

The explosion occurred at 1 pm local time, shook the city, inside the restaurant Al Umaraa, resulting in a victim and injured, so far.

Internal security officials in Manbij said a suicide bomber blew himself up inside the restaurant after he entered, wearing an explosive belt.

After the incident, US forces were in the area, and coalition aircraft began hovering over the city sky.
