Syrian human rights organizations and bodies call for an end to the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory

The administrative body of the Syrian Federation of Human Rights Organizations and Bodies and Syrian human rights organizations and bodies denounced the continued widespread aggression of the Turkish occupation forces on lands in North-East Syria, the use of military aircraft, drones, missile and artillery bombardment, and their violation of Syrian airspace and sovereignty, and considered this a blatant violation of all principles and rules governing international humanitarian law and international human rights law.

It added that the Turkish aggressive military actions are causing an increase in the scale of devastation and destruction of various infrastructure, vital, health and service facilities, and private and public property, killing a number of civilians, wounding dozens, and causing the need for hospitals in Qamishli to donate blood.

It mentioned the sites, vital and service facilities, health centers, and private property that were targeted by Turkish warplanes and drone bombing, including three sites next to Alaya prison, which contains ISIS detainees, based on human rights and media information.

It said that as a result of the aggressive attack, more than 2,600 villages and cities live in complete darkness, as Turkish occupation aircraft targeted power stations in the city of Qamishlo and its countryside.

The Syrian Federation for Human Rights and the human rights bodies, organizations and centers that produced this human rights report condemned all violations committed against Syrian citizens by the occupying forces that committed these violations, declaring their full solidarity with the families of all Syrian victims. They also denounced various types of Turkish practices and violations against Syrians.

Calling on the international community to take serious and rapid action to put an end to this aggression against the villages and cities of North-East Syria, as it represents a violation of Syrian sovereignty and undermines the efforts of existing political solutions and efforts to combat terrorism in Syria.

It addressed the United Nations and all international bodies and institutions concerned with defending human rights, in order to stop the Turkish aggression against the North-East Syria, and the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the Turkish forces and their collaborators from all Syrian territories.

In addition to exposing the violations of the Turkish occupation against Syrian civilians, stopping the operations intended to target hospitals, medical centers, rescue teams, and medical teams, and putting pressure on the Turkish government, in order to stop the warplanes and the Turkish march in targeting civilians, churches, places of worship, and private and public property, and stopping the looting and theft of shops and homes.

It called for the formation of an independent and impartial judicial investigation committee to uncover all violations committed since the beginning of the Turkish aggression until now, and to refer those responsible to the local, regional and international judiciary and hold them accountable. It called on the international bodies and institutions concerned with meeting the life, economic and humanitarian needs of the afflicted cities and villages of North-East Syria, and to provide them with all necessary supplies. .

Emphasizing the need to confront and stop the increasing risks resulting from the practices of the racist occupation forces that adopted forced and violent displacement and ethnic cleansing, and to stand firmly against all practices that depend on changing demographic structures to achieve ethnic and racist goals and interests.
