Working to increase the hours of electricity access to all provinces of North-East Syria
The work began to increase the hours of electricity access to all provinces of the North-East Syria(NES) region as a result of stopping water pumping to irrigation canals at the same time every year, in addition to the slight increase in the water supply of Tishreen Dam.
According to Imad Obaid, head of coordination of the Euphrates Dam Operations Room, to Aso News Network, the increase in the hours of electricity access is linked to the increase in the water supply to the dam, and if the supply decreases, the hours of electricity access will be reduced.
Obaid confirmed that the improvement in electricity access hours will begin to take effect starting tomorrow, Friday.
Obaid also pointed out the need to rationalize the use of electricity by residents, in order to preserve transformers.
