Establishing the first teacher training institute in Tabqqa

Tabqqa Education Committee established the first teacher training institute in Tabqqa with the aim of preparing experienced teachers.

The co-chair of Tabqqa Education Committee, Laila Mohammad, told Aso News Network that the institute is divided into two levels. The first level prepares teachers who hold a secondary certificate for three semesters, each semester includes 6 scientific and literary subjects, teaching methods, and child psychology. Preparation takes place during Saturday and Sunday of each week.

She added that the second level works to attract high school diploma holders to study at the institute for two years divided into four semesters, and the Education Committee is obligated to appoint graduates from the institute in Tabqqa city schools.

The institute currently includes 120 teachers, and work is underway to increase the number to 150 teachers.
