As part of a security operation… SDF announces the arrest of dozens of ISIS cells in Al-Hasakah

The Syrian Democratic Forces announced, in a statement published on its official website, on Saturday, that it had arrested 38 suspects from ISIS cells.

The operation was carried out on the outskirts of the city of Al-Hasakah, northeastern Syria.

This morning, private sources reported to ASO News Network that the entrances and exits to the city of Al-Hasakah were closed.

The statement issued by the SDF stated that the operation was carried out by the SDF’s special military operations teams and the Internal Security Forces, and was described as a special and large-scale operation in the southern neighborhoods of Al-Hasakah.

According to the SDF statement, the suspects were trying to carry out various terrorist operations against the city’s residents.

The statement also stated that a quantity of weapons and ammunition in their possession was seized.
