A source in the Euphrates Dam: Electricity will be cut off in Al-Jazira District for two days for maintenance reasons and to avoid malfunctions in the winter
A private source at the Euphrates Dam in Tabqa District said, on Monday, to ASO News Network, that the power supply to the line supplying Al-Jazeera District will be cut off for two consecutive days, starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
The outage begins at nine in the morning for maintenance work, and will return to work two days later, according to the source.
The source pointed out that line maintenance is not an emergency, but rather a normal periodic maintenance of the transformers feeding Al-Hasakah line, with the onset of winter.
The source added that the line feeding Al-Jazeera District from the Euphrates Dam needs periodic maintenance before the start of the winter season, to avoid malfunctions resulting from the increased load on the electrical current.
