A data error causes people to wait for days in front of the Fuel Directorate in Al-Hasakah

For days on end, residents have been gathering in the city of Hasakah, in front of the Fuel Directorate, waiting for the heating diesel card to be activated.

ASO News Network met with a number of Al-Hasakah residents, who indicated that they have been visiting the directorate for days on end, waiting for the fuel card to be activated, to receive their allocations of heating diesel.

According to some clients, there are errors in the data of beneficiaries from neighborhood councils and communes, which have not yet been corrected, causing a gathering crisis in front of the directorate building.

Meanwhile, Suzan Mohammad, the co-chair of the Fuel Directorate in Al-Hasakah, explained to ASO News Network that work is underway to amend some incorrect data on the cards so that diesel is delivered to all residents without problems.

She added that since June 5, the Fuel Directorate, in cooperation with the economic office in the district, began distributing more than 17 million liters.

She indicated that the number of cards benefiting from the quantity distributed so far amounted to 71,804 cards, with a quantity of 300 liters and a price of 360 thousand Syrian pounds per liter.
