An ISIS attack in the Raqqa desert results in deaths and injuries

An attack on the road linking the town of Al-Rusafa in the eastern countryside of Tabqa, and the town of Al-Sabkha in the eastern countryside of Raqqa, resulted in the death of a civilian and the injury of two others.

The attack resulted in 4 deaths and 4 injuries among the Syrian government forces.

Local sources say that the attack was carried out by cells affiliated with ISIS, and targeted military points and civilian vehicles in the Shuwaihan area, and also led to the burning of a truck.

According to the sources, the injured civilians were transferred to Hama hospitals.

The area between the town of Rusafa and the town of Sabkha is under the control of the Syrian government.

Attacks by ISIS cells are repeated in the deserts of Raqqa and Deir Al-Zour and areas in Al-Hasakah countryside.
