An ISIS member was arrested in Qamishlo

The Syrian Democratic Forces, with the support of the International Coalition, arrested an ISIS member in Qamishlo/Al-Qamishli.

The International Coalition announced the arrest of a person named “Karam Al-Mashout” on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

A private source told ASO News Network that Al-Mashout infiltrated the city of Qamishlo, with the aim of planning operations targeting the security services.

The source stated that the Special Forces (TOL) of the SDF were able to raid one of the sites where Al-Mashout was and arrest him, based on accurate intelligence information.

Al-Mashout comes from the city of Al-Bukamal in the Deir Al-Zour countryside, and is accused of carrying out terrorist crimes in Deir Deir Al-Zour and other areas.

The city of Qamishlo had previously been subjected to suicide attacks from ISIS cells.
