A private source at Amuda Electricity Company told ASO News Network that the main electricity supply to the city has returned more than a week after it was cut off.

The Turkish occupation’s targeting of the station on October 24 led to a strike on the electricity transformer.

The source stated that work on repairing the electrical transformer ended yesterday, Thursday, and the city’s market was supplied with electricity, starting Friday morning.

The source said that the restoration of the city’s electricity supply will begin today at twelve o’clock at night, and that it will operate as it was before.

The majority of cities of North-East Syria rely on power from electricity generators, and work with the main power transformers for specific and varying hours per day.
