Three children were injured in the explosion of a suspicious object in Al-Tabqa countryside
On Friday, three Syrian children were injured when a suspicious object left over from war exploded in the village of Jaabar, north of the city of Tabqa.
Eyewitnesses from the village of Jaabar told ASO News Network that the three children were herding sheep in the vicinity of the village of Jaabar during the explosion.
Sources from the village indicated that they found a strange object resembling an explosive projectile, and as a result of tampering with it, it exploded, wounding the three children, after which they were transferred to Raqqa hospitals.
The Sources confirmed that the injuries of two of the children were minor, while the third was in critical condition due to a severed artery.
Mines and remnants of war are considered a constant danger that leads to victims, especially children, because they play with them without knowledge or consideration of their danger.
