International Coalition Begins Establishing a New Base in Kobani

On Thursday morning, the International Coalition forces established a new military base west of the city of Kobani.

The base is located near the former “Nan and Dan” hotel, adjacent to the city’s automatic bakery.

A correspondent of ASO News Network in Kobani said that military, construction, cement and logistical equipment have arrived at the site designated for the establishment of the base.

Additional military armored vehicles are expected to arrive in the coming hours to support the new base.

This step comes in the context of strengthening the coalition’s military presence in North-East Syria, amid ongoing regional tensions and efforts to ensure the stability of areas liberated from the control of the “ISIS” organization, in addition to ensuring a reduction or cessation of operations in the region
