Complaints about high transportation prices despite the decline in the dollar and fuel prices

Travelers from Tabqa to Damascus complain about high transportation prices, despite the decline in the US dollar exchange rate and fuel prices on the black market.
The price of a passenger fare in a taxi has reached more than 300 thousand Syrian pounds, and vans “Fox” about 250 thousand, and buses about 125 thousand.
While previously the prices of a taxi were 200 thousand Syrian pounds, vans “Fox” 150 thousand Syrian pounds, and buses 100 thousand Syrian pounds.
Travelers often resort to taxis due to their speed and limited number of passengers (only 4 passengers), while buses and vans need more than 10 passengers to start the trip, which causes delays in departure, especially since most travelers are patients receiving treatment, and employees.
They demand that the competent authorities intervene to control transportation prices, take into account the economic conditions of travelers and provide appropriate solutions.
