Many humanitarian initiatives launched by doctors of cities in North and East of Syria to protect people from the novel coronavirus.
The contributions of doctors have become not only to treat patients free of charge, so they have become hope makers in North and East Syria.

And the pharmacist, Dr. Hussein Tahir, the son Al-Darbasiyah announced his initiative to distribute sterile items to families in the city, and the initiative was shared by “Barzani Al-Sino”, the owner of a clothing store in Al-Darbasiyah, who decided to distribute clothes from his own store to low-income families.

“Crises always reveal the mercy and cooperation of people.” Thus, Dr. Hussein Tahir started his speech to Aso News Network, stressing the necessity of community solidarity through these initiatives until the crisis ends.

The pharmacist emphasized that his initiative includes distributing sterilizers to the poor families, disinfectants, soaps, sterilizers, and scented tissues, indicating that these substances became essential in these conditions after they were previously supplementation.

“Barzani El Sino”, the owner of a women’s clothing store, participated in the initiative to distribute women’s and children’s clothes to some families, telling “Aso” , people do not only need food and water but also new clothes that delight the hearts of children and families in need.

Barzani Al-Sino noted that his initiative was in coordination with the pharmacist and this aid included about thirty poor families in the eastern neighborhood of the city.

It is worth noting that many families in Al-Darbasiyah undertook voluntary initiatives, such as sewing masks and distributing bread. In addition to this aforementioned gesture, which may not be the last to extend a helping hand to needy families in light of the curfew imposed by the Autonomous-Administration in North and East regions of Syria to ward off the risks of the novel epidemic and spread throughout the world.
