Local activists from Afrin said that an armed group affiliated to the “Faylaq Al-Sham ” faction stormed the house of the Kurdish elderly Yazidi “Nuri Jemmo Aref Sharaf” (63 years) on Thursday evening, and shot him directly in the head and killed him.

The elderly “Nuri” is from the Yazidi component, and he is from the village of “Shoudereh” in the countryside of Afrin.

Nuri had refused to pay a financial royalty imposed on him by the faction supported by the Turkish occupation, after learning that he had sold a property that was a piece of land.

According to activists, the faction, after several days of selling “Nuri” his real estate, sent him a threat, saying: “If you pay not the money, you will be entitled to a single bullet.” And sooner they did that and killed him deliberately

It is noteworthy that, “Nuri” was kidnapped last year by the same faction and released after paying an amount of 8 thousand euros, as he was well-off in Afrin.
