Opposition factions arrest a Kurdish artist in Afrin on charges of writing in the Kurdish language and possession of weapons

The Military Police faction in Jenderes district arrested the artist, “Ismail Hamo,” who works in the field of art and photography, and his wife, “Berivan Heso,” on charges of finding weapons in the cave near their home, in addition to the accusation of writing in the Kurdish language.

“Ismail” is a resident of “Kordan” village in Jenderes district. His wife was released after hours of arrest, but the fate of “Ismail” is still unknown.

Since its occupation by the Turkish state, Afrin residents have been suffering from cases of arrest and kidnapping daily after they were charged with flimsy charges, the aim of which was to collect the ransom.
