In conjunction with the Corona pandemic …. hygiene campaigns in the countryside of Deir Ezzor

The administration in Deir Al-Zour countryside, together with local organizations, organized landfills in Deir Al-Zour, because its randomness poses a threat to the residents.

On Sunday, Steps Organization, in cooperation and coordination with people’s municipality in Granij, identified all the random landfills in Granij town.

As random garbage dumps are now posing a serious threat to the lives of the people from the diseases and epidemics that are spreading in an alarming way in the region.

The garbage in “Al-Mureyia”, “Layeh Badr” and “Al-Karidi” neighborhoods were transferred and work continues until all the dumps are removed from the neighborhoods of Granij town.
In parallel, people’s municipality in Hajin started, with a voluntary campaign to clean the city, which was carried out with the participation of the “Ansaf Development” organization.

18 youth participated in this campaign voluntarily.

The parents did not hesitate to participate in the hygiene campaign, as they volunteered three tractors to carry the garbage.

In this campaign, the city center, the public street, and the western and eastern sectors were completely targeted.

The rest of the municipalities will continue cleaning works through the municipal cleaning workshops, by deporting the garbage and transporting it to the designated places.
