A number of people protested in border villages in the city of Derek countryside over the conduct of a Russian patrol in these villages on Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses among the people in the villages of Kasan, Qasr al-Deeb and Ain Dewar, told Aso News Network that they objected to any presence of Russian forces inside their villages.

Where “Saeed Rasoul” from the people of Ain Dewar village explained the reason for their protest against the presence of the patrol, that they have lost their confidence in the Russian forces, and that they do not wish to have any fixed bases for them within the village.

“ٌRasoul ” added, they are under constant attack and violations by Turkey without the Russian forces moving in, “so there is no need for them to be there”.

After being prevented from staying in the village of Ain Dewar, the Russian patrol went towards Mazraa village in the Berav area in order to stay there today.

This comes in light of Turkey’s targeting of Syrian civilians on the border, in clear violation of the ceasefire truce.
