Free sick check up… an initiative launched by a doctor in Kobani

A doctor from the city of Kobani took the initiative to check up patients for free, for a period, as of 20/06/2020 until 30/07/2020.

Ali Shaheen, a gastroenterologist and liver specialist, told ASO News Network that he would receive patients free of charge for forty days, from three to six in the evening.

The doctor indicated that he was providing some medications in his pharmacy for patients, especially hepatitis patients.

He added that he aims through this initiative to reduce the burdens of the living situation on the people, in light of the wave of high prices that swept the region recently, with the collapse of the Syrian pound to its lowest levels.
