On Saturday, the Youth and Sports Committee in Raqqa city started training courses for the youth category, and the start was from first aid training.

“Ahmed Al Sharif,” Vice President of the Joint Committee of Youth and Sports, told Aso News Network that the most prominent goal of these training sessions is to provide an opportunity for the youth to learn different professions to reduce unemployment in the city.

“Al-Sharif” added that first aid education targets young men and women over the age of 18, indicating that it will extend for a month divided into a theoretical and practical part.

Lama, a 23-year-old girl trained in Raqqa, explains why she underwent training, and says it is important for anyone to learn how to first aid, to help if any member of the family is exposed to a health disorder.

As for “Nour Al-Saleh”, she joined the training course to gain experience that might provide her with a job opportunity, given her poor living conditions.

While “Hussein” is undergoing training for his love of this profession, and the fact that his studies did not allow him to enter the College of Nursing, this course came as an opportunity to learn this profession.

It is noteworthy that the Youth and Sports Committee will continue to train in a series including the teaching of the English language and the computer.
