New royalties and taxes by the armed Syrian factions in Afrin

Local activists in the city of Afrin said that the “Al-Hassakeh Shield” battalion of “Sultan Murad” faction imposed new taxes on more than 50 shops near Falafel restaurant of Shallal .
And the battalion imposed on each store an amount of five to ten thousand pounds per month on the pretext of protecting the shops.
The “Sultan Murad” faction also imposed a 15% tax on wheat and barley crops in the villages of Sharan and Afrin city.
