A total curfew for two weeks in Northeast Syria

The Crisis Cell in Al-Jazira region announced a total curfew for two weeks in the cities of Rojava / Northeast Syria, with the aim of preventing an increase in the number of coronavirus infections.

The statement, published by the Crisis Cell, stated that the decision was taken after an increase in cases of coronavirus pandemic, and the number of those in contact with them.

The ban starts from Thursday 06/08/2020 until 20/08/2020.

Shops selling food, vegetables, ovens, pharmacies and hospitals, in addition to fuel stations, water tanks and food and medical transport vehicles are out of the ban.

According to the statement, farmers and workers are allowed to pass to their fields, and the working hours of medical clinics and laboratories have been limited, starting from eleven in the morning until three in the afternoon.

The exception includes the work of municipalities and the Electricity and Water Emergency Committees to remain on the job during the ban period.

It is noteworthy that the number of infections with the Coronavirus reached 30 cases in the cities of Northeast Syria.
