Since the beginning of the Turkish aggression against the cities of Serekaneh / Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad, a large number of people from these two cities have fled and settled in the regions of north and east Syria, between shelters, camps and cities.
About 50 families fled to Al-Qahtaniyah sub-district, fleeing from the scourge of war and destruction, and some of them settled in the sub-district and half of them chose to move to other areas, according to the statistics of the Office of Organizations Affairs in Tirba Spi sub-district.
“Ahmed” is the breadwinner of a family consisting of his three children, his mother and his brother, who live together in the same house that he rented, he says to Aso News Network, “I thank the people of Tirba Spi district who supported us in our situation and our displacement and provided us with all support in light of the neglect of our situation by humanitarian organizations.” He added. Here in the district we did not receive any support from organizations”.
Ahmed mother, an old woman who was overwhelmed by the conditions of displacement, added. We left our city in the hope that we would return, but we cannot return. “We live in exceptional situations. My son Ahmed, who is sick and suffers from pain in his back, cannot work and the organizations ignore our conditions.
She praised the efforts of the people of Tirbh Spi, who did not stop providing assistance to them.
Ali’s situation also did not differ from that of Ahmed, who is a father of three children, who was affected by the conditions of displacement and forced displacement in the area of Tirbh Spi.
He hopes to return to his occupied city from Turkey, in light of the difficult conditions that he and his family are living through, and the alienation that kept him away from his relatives and not asking the organizations about their living conditions.
As for “Akid” a newly married young man who lives with his family who have also migrated to Tirbh Spi, and are suffering the same suffering that the people of his stricken city lived, but he prefers to stay in the city as a displaced person because for him this is better than the camps and shelters that lack the simplest necessities of life and condemns “Akid” In the absence of the organizations’ role in helping them.
In a question by Aso News Network of the Office of Organizations Affairs of Tirbh Spi sub-district, the official of the office stated that the number of families who were displaced to Tirbh Spi from Serekaneh reached about 50 families, most of them resided in residential homes and we did not open any shelter centers in the district.
He added, the total aid provided to the displaced families was limited to civil initiatives in the first place and local charities such as (Prati Association, Jian Association, Aras Association).
According to the official, the humanitarian organizations were absent from the scene and only recorded family data with promises of support that have not yet been implemented
