Expulsion of settler families from Sheikh al-Hadid side for refusing to send their sons to fight in Azerbaijan

Local activists from Afrin said that “Muhammad Jasim Abu Amsha,” the leader of the Amshat faction, expelled 12 settler families who were taking over the homes of the people of Sheikh al-Hadid district for refusing to send their children to fight in Azerbaijan against the Armenian forces.

Activists added that settler families were deported to the random camps established in Ashrafieh neighbourhood of Afrin city.

Media pages circulated news that the same fate awaits 30 other settler families after receiving expulsion threats from “Abu Amsha” if they do not go to Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, other news pages said that Abu Amsha gives his operatives promises to send them to work as guards in Qatar until the end of the 2022 World Cup, with a salary of up to $ 4,000. In a move described by some as flirting with the fighters and bringing them to the house of obedience.

In the context, the Turkish intelligence in the border town of “Hawar Kilis” arrested 40 armed factions on charges of disobeying military orders and causing chaos.

The faction leaders had promised the fighters to pay $ 800 in advance before travelling to fight as mercenaries, but they broke their promises, which angered the mercenaries.

The Turkish intelligence arrested them, confiscated their cell phones, and many of them refused to go until all their agreed demands were fulfilled.
