Towards a national conference for the people of Al-Jazira and the Euphrates … Towards a bright future based on dialogue between all components

Today, Wednesday, the activities of the National Conference of the Sons of Al-Jazira and the Euphrates began in the conference hall of the Deir Al-Zour Civil Council in the Maamel area in the countryside of Deir Al-Zour.

The conference aims to guarantee citizenship and the rights of all components in a unified Syria, to promote participation in the institutions of the Autonomous Administration of and North-East Syria, and to develop and empower the autonomous and civil administrations.

The conference was attended by Abdul Hamid Al-Mahbash, the co-chair of the Executive Council of North- East Syria, Amina Omar, the co-chair of the SDF, and Hikmat Habib and Ali Rahmoun, members of the Presidential Commission of SDC, Dheyab Al-Jilat, Vice President of the Legislative Council in Deir Al-Zour, and Layla Al-Hassan, the co-chair of the Deir Al-Zour Civil Council.

Also, representatives of all sects of the people attended, including intellectuals of all groups and affiliations, civic activists, doctors, jurists, writers, sheikhs and tribal elders.

The discussion took place according to the foundations of the conference, in order to enhance participation in the Autonomous Administration based on constructive visions that differ in ways of developing and building society.

The conference included two axes
The first revolves around the various dialogues, the Syrian – Syrian, the dialogue with the opposition, the dialogue with the Syrian government, the Kurdish – Kurdish dialogue, and the reflection of those dialogues on the political solution.

As for the second axis, it includes the historical relations among the peoples of the region and their role in building the Autonomous-Administration and the mechanism for developing participation and institutional work in the Autonomous Administration.

The conference also touched on developing the service reality and providing all the ingredients that contribute to supporting the region, and that the coming period will witness a great focus towards supporting the region in all fields.
