Suicide or a crime?…the body of a man was found in Afrin

On Friday, the body of Kamiran Sheikh Ali Mahou, 40 years old, from the village of Bililko in Afrin countryside, was found hanged near the Newroz roundabout in the center of Afrin in mysterious circumstances.

According to reports, Kamiran had committed suicide by hanging due to the harsh living conditions in the city of Afrin and his inability to secure the needs of his house, especially since he is married and has four children.

While some doubted that what happened with Kamran was a murder and not a suicide, as no one from his family has yet declared the circumstances of the incident.

Recently, suicides have increased in the areas of northern Syria that are under the control of the National Army factions, as a result of the harsh economic conditions the region is going through, the insanely high prices in the markets, in addition to the lack of job opportunities.
