The residents of Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods complain about the frequent outages of the “ampere” power lines, as a result of their random and intertwined extension over the sidewalks and streets. The passage of high cars loaded with goods is considered the main reason for the frequent outages, which forces the people to replace them with new power lines.

Mahmoud Said, a resident of Ashrafiyeh neighborhood, told the correspondent of Aso News Network that he was forced to change the “ampere” power lines 3 times in a row, stressing that the main reason for the frequent outages is the high vehicles pass in the street.

He believes that the owners of the generators should organize the extension of the power lines well, to ensure that they are not cut off, and that it is the appropriate solution for the people of the neighborhood.

Jamil Zino, the owner of a generator for subscription electricity “amps” in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, said that the recurring issue of power line cuts, and the complaints of the people, prompted him to work on organizing their extension, and he confirmed that they would renew the extensions, and organize them properly to avoid damage to them, according to him. Saying it.

Zakaria Al-Ahmad, the owner of an amp generator in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, stated that he is working to find appropriate solutions to the problem of the frequent interruptions of these lines, and indicated that they are about to apply a new method in organizing the lines by drawing the borders of each box and extending the lines in an orderly manner from the box to the house.

It is noteworthy that the cost of extending new power lines, frequently as a result of interruptions, has become a burden on the people in Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods, where the price of one meter of power lines has reached 2,100 Syrian pounds.
