The People’s Municipality in al-Darbasiyah has determined a new rationing system for electricity operating hours (subscription), where electricity delivery hours will be 6 hours instead of 5 hours.

Zilan Arab, the co-chairman of the municipality of Al-Darbasiyah, stated that the municipality has set new prices for one ampere at 10,500 Syrian pounds, instead of 14,000 Syrian pounds. Allocations for diesel generators will also be distributed according to special schedules for each neighborhood.

“Arab” explained the reason for reducing electricity hours, due to the shortage of diesel fuel as a result of the Turkish occupation targeting oil sites.

It is noteworthy that al-Darbasiyah transfer station, and a number of vital and economic facilities in the region, were out of service as a result of the Turkish occupation aircraft targeting it.
