Dr. Darbandi conveys a message from President Barzani to Mazloum Abdi

Dr. Hamid Darbandi conveyed today a message of support from President Barzani to the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, stressing the importance of unifying the Kurdish ranks and strengthening joint cooperation to confront the current challenges in Syria.

In a statement published by the Syrian Democratic Forces, it said that the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces met with President Masoud Barzani’s representative, Dr. Hamid Darbandi, and the meeting discussed the latest developments in the Kurdish and regional arena.

The statement added that Dr. Darbandi conveyed a message of support from President Barzani, stressing the importance of unifying the Kurdish ranks and strengthening joint cooperation to confront the current challenges in Syria.

He pointed out that Mazloum Abdi expressed his appreciation for President Barzani’s message and support, stressing that the current stage requires concerted efforts between all Kurdish parties to achieve stability and ensure the protection of the interests of the Kurdish people.

The official in charge of the Syrian Kurdish file and a representative of President Masoud Barzani, Dr. Hamid Darbandi, arrived in the city of Qamishlo / Al-Qamishli today, and met with the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces in Al-Hasakah, and later met with the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Qamishlo.
