Insecticides sprayed in Newroz camp in Derek

Completing the pesticide spraying campaign, the People’s Municipality of Derek / Malikiya sprayed insecticides at the Newroz camp north of the city.

“Rankin Ahmed,” a member of the media office in the municipality of the people in the city told Aso news network on 27/06/2018 that they began spraying with the aim of eliminating snakes, scorpions and various insects that spread in summer. Rankin added that the campaign in the camp will last in two days. After completion, the destination will be to the Roj camp for Iraqi refugees in the city’s countryside and within days they will start spraying the pesticides with fog.

It is worth mentioning that the pesticide spraying campaign in Derek and its countryside started about a month ago and from the villages that are ended with spraying (Ain Diwar and Rubariya) and the campaign will continue untill the completion of the whole city and its countryside.
