The band of “Hakawati Al Furat ””The Euphrates storyteller” landed in the city of Deir Ezzor, and made a theater performance, in front of more than (150) children with the presence of parents Deir Ezzor, who suffered difficult life during the past years, before liberating the city from the hands of ISIS.

The band of Hakawati Al Furat performed a play show, in a courtyard belonging to the local council in Al Jazrat area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The show lasted about an hour and a half, starting at noon.

“ Hakawati Al Furat ” has made theatrical performances, for children, women and families, in Al Raqqa and Al Tapqqa, last month, in front of the presence of large crowds of parents.

The “Euphrates storyteller or Hakawati Al Furat ” band performs its plays in the series “The Wandering Theater”. The play performed on Tuesday, September 2019 under the name of “ Baeaat Al Farja” in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor

The residents of Deir Ezzor are living a new life, after years of terrorism and extremism of ISIS, and the dominance of its ideology on society.

The band presents its plays as described by the project coordinator Shahla Al-Said, in a “storyteller” manner, where the group narrates reality through the storyteller “to get ideas more influential to the public”.

AL Hakawati Theater aims to undermine the ideology of terrorism and extremism, restore confidence among the people towards building and reconstruction, rebuild mankind, establish human and human values in society, and refute extremism.

Shahla Al-Said says the show suggests a salesman pulling the stories out of a box, where she started with Krakos and Iwaz, in order to cultivate tolerance and participatory values among children.

According to Daham Al-Sattam, the director of the theater work, Bayaat Al-Farja, a work directed to children, “The offer was put out of the watch box in a comical template, participatory, by offering cooperation between people through a simple situation such as sharing food and drink with others.”

“Al Sattam”, added that the aim of today’s show is not to be “selfish” human, and to be an initiative and share with others the same food he gets.

Rama al-Hindi, from Al Hakawati band, told Aso News Network that the idea of a multi-color country within the stage show showed love and tolerance by showing cooperation and peace among the people of that country.

, “Rama,” added that the presentation of colors, focused on the war between the Kingdom of Colors and the Black Kingdom, ie the war between good and evil, and how good triumphs by expelling evil.

Mustafa al-Saleh, the father of one of the children, said that Deir Ezzor needs such works, which consolidate the values of humanity in the hearts of children, stressing that the theater work delivered a message to the hearts of children, “The play contributed to the psychological support of children, after years of war and years Terrorism. ”

“Said,” a participated child expressed his feelings by saying, “We laughed for an hour, we wish the band to be here again”.

Administrators at Deir Ezzor local council stressed the need for cultural and artistic initiatives to contribute to the development of society towards development and salvation from extremism.
