Horror moments under the shells of death, the screams of children and the wailing of women, was the overwhelming scene on the residents of Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain, who live the second stubborn journey in search of safety from displacement.

In the city of Serekaniye, in afternoon time, began the journey of the people with suffering, people went out of their homes in search of safety, including those who came out with vehicles, including on foot, to escape the bombing of the Turkish army and armed opposition factions.

On the way, people were returning to the suffering of November 2012, when they were displaced for the first time, when the Syrian armed opposition factions entered the city, with indirect Turkish support, while today Turkey is going before them while they are behind it, the first experience was a failure to defeat the factions.

The first hour, at the beginning of the attack, witnessed the departure of large numbers of residents from the city, leaving behind the “everything”, they only carried what their trembling hands carried.

Flight of the warplanes in the sky of the city at four o’clock, and the screaming sounds of children, and the smell of fear fills the places. The city suffered more than twenty strikes within minutes.

The beginning of the attack witnessed the targeting of a water pumping station in the village of Alok, east of the city, which pumps water to the city of Hasakah, in addition to targeting a number of points along the border strip. Also, unarmed civilians cars to al Darbasiya road alongside the Turkish border, came under fire from the Turkish border police station opposite the village of Alok.

Cotton field workers on the border have left their jobs as a result of indiscriminate shootings towards them.

A woman left her husband in the city and removed her children on foot, and a mother who left her children in the frightening calm of the city, families lying in the streets outside the city, found mercy and peace not seen in the shadow of the peace operation.

The city lives quietly and cautiously, is shaken by the sounds of explosions from time to time, the sounds of prayers from innocent people were louder than the sound of shells.

Along the road between Serekaniye and Tel Temir, hundreds of families are sleeping overnight on ground, hundreds of children and women.

The scene in which the city lived does not have any meaning of peace.
