Cleaning and deporting the accumulated waste and impurities on both sides of the “Al-Jeqjuq” river in Qamishlo

The Al-People municipality in Qamishlo / Al-Qamishli has started cleaning and deporting the accumulated waste and impurities on both sides of “Al-Jaqjaq” river in the city.

According to municipal officials, the dirt will be removed to the “Nafkur” area, the waste collection site.

This step comes to protect people from diseases and viruses, and in light of the efforts to tackle Corona Virus, not to spread out diseases, and to get rid of bad smells as the summer approaches, according to municipal officials.

The cleaning of the river is carried out in coordination with the Municipalities and Environmental Protection Committee.
