Under the slogan “Friends of Goodness… The youth of Raqqa launch an initiative to distribute aid to the people”

A group of Al-Raqqa youth announced that they have organized an initiative to help families in difficult circumstances during curfews under the slogan “Friends of Goodness”.

“Basil Al-Ali” one of the founders of the initiative assured to ASO News Network that they decided to help the needy families, who suffered from crises of lack of their living needs after the Autonomous-Administration imposed a curfew to face the spread of Corona virus

“Basil” continued, we distribute food baskets to the affected families and the basket contains a group of food items, where families are chosen with the help of neighborhood communes in the city of Raqqa.

“Al-Ali” added, we began the work nearly seven days ago, in which the food baskets were distributed to 11 families, and we will continue to distribute throughout the curfew.

It is noteworthy that the region witnessed many individual initiatives such as exemption from renting homes and distributing relief aid, in addition to making masks and distributing them to the people for free as a kind of social solidarity between the people in the current circumstance.
