For the second month of the curfew imposed by the self-administration in northern and eastern Syria, the 17-year-old “Mohamed Al-Ahmed” thought about developing the talent of writing poetry.

The idea of composing poetry was not new to son of Raqqa , as he loves reading and has a talent memorizing verses of poetry and poems by heart, as he used to write vernacular and Arabic verses from a young age.

“Muhammad” took advantage of the period of quarantine, the closure of schools and institutes of Raqqa, and he did not leave his home except for necessity, to find his time belonging to him in order to develop his talent and improve his language. He read dozens of books, and he always tends to read and write spinning poetry.
