Initial information, photos and videos confirm the killing of dozens, while the number of dead and injured was not reached, as a result of the news, and a change in the numbers of the dead because the wounded were in critical conditions.

A huge explosion occurred in the city of Afrin, which is controlled by the Syrian opposition factions backed by the Turkish occupation, by a fuel-trapped tank.

The explosion occurred in front of the popular market near al-Siyasiya street in the city center.

The explosion caused great material damages.

The bombing caused the siege of the sellers and the owners of shops inside the popular market, as a result of the high flames, and the inability of the civil defense teams to enter the market and remove the besieged citizens.

The explosion caused great material damage to the shops, the street vendors’ Bastas and the cars parked in front of the market, in addition to burning the market in its entirety.

Four firefighters tried to put out the fire, and could not control the fire, as a result of the fuel spilled on the ground and the fire flamed up.
