Private sources from Afrin said that new information has been revealed about the latest bombing of Afrin, on Tuesday 28 April.

The sources spoke that a revised surveillance camera showed that the explosion took place with a white van, which caused the explosion, and not a large truck, as it propagated at the beginning of the explosion.

Turkey announced that they were able to reach the owner of the truck that entered from Turkish territory, in conjunction with the accusation of the Syrian Democratic Forces of the explosion, but it turned out that the explosion was not caused by the truck, which puts the Turkish narration in front of doubts!

A white Van vehicle exploded on arrival in front of the popular market in the city of Afrin.

As a result of the terrorist explosion, nearly 100 people were killed and wounded, most of them civilians, while 6 members of the Syrian armed opposition factions, backed by the Turkish occupation, were killed.

The flames reached a fuel truck parked behind the van, which increased the severity of the explosion.

The “van” vehicle that exploded did not have a number plate, while all the civilian cars in Afrin were numbered by the local council, with the exception of the cars of the armed elements, which activists suggest the possibility of armed factions carrying out these explosions.

According to information received from Afrin, it is suspected that Ahrar al-Sharqiya and Sultan Murad factions are behind this bombing, especially after the Turkish authorities asked the two factions to withdraw from Afrin with their entire elements to send them to Libya.

Activists from Afrin said that, after the bombing, elements of the armed factions fired in the air to remove the families and shop owners from the explosion site in order to steal the remaining goods inside the popular market.

They added two exchange shops, two jewelry stores, the Sobhi Bakir stationery library and a number of electronics, mobile and textile stores were stolen.
