An elderly from Afrin lost his life after a quarrel with a number of settlers
Activists from Afrin said, “Nazmi Rashid Akash” (65 years old) suffered a heart attack, as a result of a quarrel, and lost his life.
A quarrel took place between “Nazmi” and ten settlers, because he objected to the settlers’ dropping their sheep in his field and damaging his agricultural crops.
“Nazmi” suffered a sudden heart attack, after which he was referred to a hospital in Afrin, but he lost his life before arriving at the hospital.
This is the second incident of its kind in Afrin, where the elderly, “Ali Mohammad”, a resident of the village of “Maidanki”, was killed in late April, after three settlers attacked and hit him on the head to lose his life due to his severe wounds.
At that time, two settlers who killed the elderly “Ali” escaped, while the third was arrested, but he was released a few weeks later on the pretext that he is a minor and not on trial.
