Afrin: Attacking a Money Exchanger and stealing more than $ 200,000 from him
Activists from Afrin said that the Money Exchanger, “Ali Darwish”, was attacked, on Friday, by a robbery of six armed men on the road linking the villages of Al-Basuta and Al-Ghazawiya in Afrin countryside.
The gunmen beat him and stole an estimated amount of $ 225,000 from him and a number of cell phones.
And ‘Ali’ is a Money exchanger from the Idlib settlement, lives in Afrin, and travels between the two cities.
According to the Money exchanger, he was robbed only a hundred meters from a checkpoint of “Al-Hamzat” faction controlling the village of Ghazawiya.
This morning, one of the gunmen who executed the robbery was arrested, and confessed with the name of their leader, Hazem Nuri, and belonging to the “Faylaq al-Sham” faction.
