On Thursday, the self- Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria raised the wages of workers and employees in its institutions by 150%.

This came through a decision after discussing the regular meeting of the Executive Council in Al-Jazeera region, which was held yesterday in Amouda in the presence of the joint presidency of the Executive Council of Northeast Syria.

The joint head of the Finance Authority in Al-Jazeera region, “Walida Hassan”, told Aso News Network that the decision to increase salaries includes all workers within the self- Administration institutions of northern and eastern Syria.

And Hassan explained that the decision to increase salaries comes to relieve the burdens of the economic crisis on the people in light of the application of Caesar’s law to Syria.
