The news about the bulldozing of houses in the vicinity of Al-Hole camp is fake … Here is the exact news
The Aso News Network correspondent in al-Hasakah countryside said that the Autonomous Administration had demolished mud chambers that were no longer suitable, scattered in the countryside of the town of Al-Hole.
The correspondent said, quoting officials and local residents, that what was demolished were semi-demolished mud chambers, unfit for housing and use, and scattered as they were located in lands belonging to farmers who used them during the harvest seasons in previous years, but now they are no longer usable.
Media outlets affiliated to Russia and the Syrian government published information that the Autonomous Administration bulldozed homes in the vicinity of Al-Hole camp, while local residents confirmed that the vicinity of Al-Hole is free of civil gatherings.
According to local sources from the area, the lands that contain these rooms have become desert uninhabitable and unfit for use.
These destroyed rooms were used in the previous agricultural season, when the region used to witness rainfed agriculture and rainy seasons, but this is now almost non-existent due to conditions and drought.
The network’s correspondent, quoting officials, said that the demolition was carried out so that these rooms would not be a nighttime hotbed for strangers, escapees and vandals in a paramilitary area.
These areas are located to the southwest of the village of Umm Hujaira in the town of Al-Hole, a distance of 2-3 km. They do not exceed 10 deserted, demolished and scattered mud chambers over large areas, northwest of Al-Hole camp.
The circulating news had published pictures of vehicles claiming that they were bulldozing houses, but in fact, a sanitation project was completed in the town of Umm Hujairah, near Al-Hole camp.
